Who The F*ck Is Judith Hill?


Well, if you are a fan of The Voice, you will remember that this girl took part the show on season 4.

Judith Hill has been a background singer for such genius musicians as Michael Jackson, Ringo Starr and Stevie Wonder. Then she auditioned for The Voice sang Christina Aguilera's What A Girl Wants and made her to the top 8. Unfortunately, she didn't make it and got eliminated after singing #thatpower by Will.I.AM and Justin Bieber. And that was the moment world knew her as a soloist.

She had dropped two full soul full studio albums called Back In Time in 2015 and Golden Child in 2018.

Back to 2014, 57th Annual Grammy Awards nominated her for Best Arrangement, Best Instruments and Vocals, and Best Music Film. Judith Hill won her first grammy for Best Music Film on her appearance in the Oscar-winning documentary movie 20 Feet From Stardom.

Judith Hill got Indonesian attention after Korean Vlogger, Reomit posted a video with Judith in it, when he was invited to an Indonesian culture showcase at Korea National Museum on Youtube last month.

But, Judith Hill cemented her name on Indonesia's press since 2018 after Academy Awards selected a documentary movie called Bali: Beats of Paradise to get nomitation. Bali: Beats of Paradise is directed by Indonesian director Livi Zheng. That documentary movie tells about Nyoman Wenten's journey as a Balinese gamelan artist on his coaching all over America for the last 40 years. Judith got appeared on that movie by sang a song called Queen of The Hill. Nyoman did some magical job on making the fusion sound on that song.


The music video of Queen of The Hill displays Balinese traditional dance, Pendet in a beautiful and exotical visual. And got viewed over one million times on Youtube.
